The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) has announced a recruitment notification PDF for Medical, Paramedical and Non-Medical Staff on a contractual basis at ECHS Polyclinic Srinagar. This recruitment is for positions of Officer-in-Charge (OIC), Dental Officer, Dental Assistant, Lab Technician and Female Attendant. The candidates will be recruited initially up to 31 March 2026 but there are possible extensions based on performance and vacancy availability in next financial year. Eligibility Criteria – Post wise
Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Polyclinic
This position is 100% reserved for Ex-Servicemen (ESM). The Candidates who want to apply for this position must be graduates with at least five years of experience in healthcare institutions or managerial roles. The candidates should also have knowledge in computer applications and managerial expertise for Officer-in-Charge (OIC) position. The selected candidate will receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹75,000 for this OIC post.
Dental Officer
Applicants who want Dental officer post should have BDS degree + 5 yrs of experience. There are reservation policy in this position which allocates 60% seats for ESM and 40% for civilians. The salary for this dental role is ₹75,000 per month.
Dental Assistant/Technician/Hygienist
Candidates applying for Dental Assistant/Technician/Hygienist posts should have have 10+2 with Science + two-year diploma in Dental Hygiene/Mechanics from a recognized institute. A minimum of three years of experience as a Dental Technician (DT) or five years as a Dental Hygienist (DH) is required. The position offers ₹28,100 per month amd there is reservation of 70% for ESM and 30% for civilians.
Lab Technician
The position of Lab Technician need B.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology or diploma in the same field + three years of experience as a Lab Assistant. The salary is ₹28,100 per month amd reservation with 70% for ESM and 30% for civilians.
Female Attendant
This role of Female Attendant requires basic literacy + five years of experience in civil or military health institutions. The pay scale is ₹16,800 per month and reservation 70% for ESM and 30% for civilians.
